“Shiva designed the upholstery and curtain fabrics in our living room, dining room and study. After an initial consultation, she returned with fabric samples and several design options to choose from. We asked her to integrate the rooms through fabric selections, but at the same time allow for the different character of each room to remain intact. She created a unique and vibrant ambiance melding the “old world” feel of the dining room and study with the more mid-century-modern living room. She was able to select fabrics that complemented both antique and modern furniture.
She was attentive to our desire to not acquire more artifacts – but rather work with the furniture and existing art to create cohesive and elegant rooms. She recomposed the objects on our tables and shelves thus transforming the room from its’ natural entropy to a pleasant harmony. She is professional, knowledgeable and has an impressive portfolio.
